Van Cleef & Arpels Celebrates 100 Years of Art Deco with Landmark Exhibition in Tokyo
Van Cleef & Arpels marks the centenary of the 1925 Art Deco Exposition with a major exhibition held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, a rare architectural masterpiece of the Art Deco era. Founded in 1906 following the marriage of Alfred Van Cleef and Estelle Arpels, the Maison has long been celebrated for its poetic designs and exceptional craftsmanship.
The exhibition brings together approximately 250 pieces of jewelry, watches, and objets d’art from the Maison’s Patrimony Collection and private loans, alongside archival documents. Highlights include the iconic Intertwined Flowers, Red and White Rose Bracelet (1924), a Grand Prix–winning masterpiece from the original Art Deco Exposition.
